Built for the way Indians actually settle bills
UPI is the cleanest peer-to-peer payment system in the world — but every bill-splitter built abroad still defaults to Venmo and Cash App, which nobody in India uses. Split Receipt is built UPI-first: paste your UPI ID once, and every split your friends receive has a Pay with UPI button pre-filled with the amount and your VPA. They tap, it opens PhonePe, GPay, Paytm, or BHIM directly, and the payment is one confirm away.
Restaurant bills with GST and service charge
Indian restaurant bills are messy: items on top, then CGST + SGST, then a service charge, sometimes a packaging fee. Split Receipt scans the whole thing, separates items from taxes and surcharges, and splits the taxes proportionally to what each person ordered. The friend who ordered a chai pays GST on the chai, not on your biryani.
Group trips, rent, and recurring bills
UPI works for more than restaurant tabs. Use Split Receipt for:
- Group trips: someone books the hotel, someone else pays for petrol, you handle dinner. Track who paid for what across the whole trip and settle up at the end with one UPI per person.
- Rent: save your flatmates as a group, send a UPI link every month for their share.
- Office orders: you Swiggy'd lunch for the team — share the bill, everyone UPIs you their share before the food gets cold.
No sign-up for your friends
Friends don't need to install anything. They open your link in any browser, type their name, tap their items, and they're done. The pay button is the only step that opens their UPI app.
Free — and we mean free
No subscription, no per-split fee, no ads. The UPI integration is at no cost — you pay UPI's normal zero fee, and we don't take a cut.
